INVITATION

The “International Symposium on Fusion Tech 2011 at Dalian” will be held for the purposes of promoting fusion and collaboration of engineering technologies and education between active five universities in Northeast Asia, Dalian University of Technology (China), Harbin Institute of Technology (China), Niigata University (Japan), Hanyang University (Korea), and Inha University (Korea), and of developing their scientific, technological and educational contributions not only to Northeast Asia, but also to the world.
This symposium is related to major engineering topics involving “Information Technology and Remote Sensing”, “Nanotechnology and Materials”, “Energy, Environment and Architecture”, “Cybernetics and Bioengineering” and other fusion technologies. Consultants and policy-makers are also welcome. The symposium will consist of plenary talks, invited talks, technical sessions and poster presentations, thus providing a unique opportunity for communication and collaboration between academia, industry and planners in the above engineering areas and their engineering training & education.

Authors should prepare an abstract according to the instruction and submit to:

The instruction for abstract preparation is attached in this second circular. The MSWORD template is available on the symposium website.Abstracts must be submitted, in either PDF or WORD file.
The authors are also required to complete a pre-registration form and return to the symposium secretariat via e-mail (fusion2011dl@163.com) byNovember 10, 2011.The pre-registration form is available on the symposium website.

The following instructions should be kept in mind:
- File must be written inMSWORD.The MSWORD template will be available on the symposium website.Abstract must be submitted, in either PDF or WORD file.
- Abstracts should be standard A4 paper (2 cm all margins).
- Text should be written insingle-space justified Times Roman 12-pt typeface.
- The title of the paper, author’s name(s), affiliation(s), author’s full postal address and corresponding author’s e-mail must appear at the beginning of the text.
- The abstract title should be indicate the content of the abstract, be concise and must be centered, and in CAPITAL letters (Times New Roman, 14 pt, bold).
- Leave one 12-pt space between the title and the authors name block.
- The names of the author and co-author(s), institutions/department, andauthor’s full postal addressshould appear centered under the title. Underline the name of the presenting author. Asterisk the name of the corresponding author. Do not include degrees or professional title (Dr., Prof., etc). Leave one 12-pt space between the authors name block and the affiliations/author’s full postal address block. (See the above example)
- The corresponding author’s e-mail should appear centered under the affiliations/author’s full postal address block.Leave one 12-pt space between the affiliations/author’s full postal address block and the corresponding author’s e-mail (See the above example).
- Leave two 12-pt spaces before staring the body of the abstract (See the above example).
- Do not indent paragraphs.
- The abstract is limited to one page only.(Less than 800 words)
